On June 20th we will arrive in Coventry where there is strong local opposition to airport expansion plans. Take a look at the CAECA website for details. People in Coventry have arranged to meet us at the Old Mill Pub, Baginton, CV8 3AH at 16:00 to leave at 17:30 for a Critical Mass style ride. There is a press call for 18:00 at Baginton Airport. We may struggle to reach Baginton on time unless we get up at silly O'clock so we might have to send the quicker people on ahead.
After the airport action we will cycle to Coventry Peace House for dinner and sleep:
Coventry Peace House is a housing co-operative and a peace and environmental centre dedicated to peace in the world and working actively towards it.
They have a very well equipped bicycle workshop where we will be able to do any necessary repairs. There will be space to sleep inside for some people and the rest will be able to put up tents in the gardens.
